With over 20 years of working in the Industry, Mark decided to use his knowledge and expertise to his advantage and step out on his own.
Premier Storage was born in 2007, resulting from a vision built over many years.
‘I started my working life selling power tools before being ‘spotted’ by a Pallet Rack company, and I was asked to join their sales team, but I didn’t look back. After over ten years as an employee, I decided that the time was right to take the leap and set up my own business, realising an ambition of many years.
I started out working from my back bedroom on a home PC. After six months, I had outgrown the bedroom; I moved to a unit at West Moor Park, Armthorpe and took on my first member of staff. From there, the business has continued to grow to the point we are today. I have a great team working with me, and I couldn’t have reached the point I am at today without them.’
After supporting Mark in the background since the birth of the business, Sarah has now joined the Company on a full-time basis.
‘For the past 14 years, I have worked as a Civil Servant working in benefit investigations. Mark has been asking me to join the Company full time for many years but at the forefront of my mind was always that thought can I really work with my husband every day!!
Well here I am and there was nothing to worry about, all is going great. As a mother and wife, I take great pride in my family and am proud of where the Company is today, all thanks to the hard work and dedication of Mark and the team.’
Business Project Manager
Carole’s experience in the business-to-business service industry speaks for itself, as she has been in this sector for over 35 years and brings with her a huge wealth of knowledge, know-how, and processes to the business.
In the Facilities Management field, she has over ten years of experience, meaning she has the right tools and insight to help businesses stay safe and compliant. Carole is an expert at building relationships and offering solutions where others may see problems.
In her spare time, Carole enjoys travelling and spending time with her family.
Business Development Manager
Frankee is the Key Account Manager at premier storage and the newest member of the team.
‘I have worked in sales roles since 2012, and this is my most challenging role to date as we have so many products to offer and such a variety of customers to offer them to.’
As the key account manager, it is Frankee’s job to keep in contact with our customers as well as dealing with any new customer enquires that come through to the office.
If there is something I can do to help then I will work hard for the customer to give them the product and service they require.’
Staci has worked alongside Mark since Premier Storage was born in 2007. She was responsible for creating our first online store, tirelessly working through the product catalogues ensuring over 12000 products were available for our customer’s to buy online.
Always a happy and cheerful voice at the end of the telephone, Staci prides herself on doing her very best to ensure our customers receive excellent service and her product knowledge is second to none.
‘I am a working with two boys at home and a little girl on the way, I love being a mum but I also love being at work, it is hard balancing the two but I get great satisfaction from my job and from knowing that my customer is happy with the service I have provided.’
Lewis joined the team in 2019 and started in an apprenticeship role. Lewis completed his apprenticeship and now has a permanent position at Premier Storage. He is responsible for carrying out maintenance on all of our eCommerce platforms, as well as looking after our social media and marketing campaigns. Whilst in his role, Lewis was responsible for creating a selling platform on Coupa, as a result of this, we now sell to one of the largest organisations in the world.
‘I really enjoy creating new products and coding for the website. My job role is very diverse but it keeps me busy and seeing the results is a great achievement.’
Jasmine is a valued member of the team. Her previous job role was in the transport and customer service, Jasmines brings a lot of knowledge and experience to her new role at Premier Storage and we welcome her onboard.
As the sales administrator, it is Jasmine’s job to keep in contact with our customers as well as dealing with any new customer enquires that come through to the office.
